Water clarity has been a mixed bag this week as we began clear until late weekend when NW winds brought dirty water. By today the end of the pier had clean water but the shallows were still muddy. Our weather forecast calls for the next two nights to be in the 30’s which will bring our water temperature back down a few degrees. The bite was not here this week. We had a few Whiting in the skinny water and a few Bonita. Bait was absent.
We had promising conditions for Bonita and a few did show a coulpe of mornings. George and Casey caught them using bubble rigs. The fish were scattered but with persistence, you could get a strike.
Water temperature: 63-65
