Beautiful water with plenty of bait around all week. However, that didn’t translate into good catches. Our water temperature was between 70 to 80 degrees and the clarity was good. There were only three tiny King Mackerel caught and that was on the first day of this report period. One other tiny King was hooked but not landed. Small numbers of Spanish Mackerel were caught with a couple of nice ones. Hardtails were here in numbers most of the week and today one Skipjack Tuna was caught. Cigar minnows were thick and today we added lots of big Spanish Sardine. The daily activity breakdown tells the story. See Paul D’s Spanish and Sam P’s Skipjack Tuna.
