Water temperatures varied as warm as 64.8 and as low as 59.5 the past 7 days. The water clarity has been poor. Most of the period the pier was a ghost-town, and the water was rough. Strong wind over the weekend trashed the water and brought the temperature to 59.5. By Wednesday, the water had cleaned some but was not clear. The temperature had recovered to almost 65. There were a few Cigar minnows one morning. Squid action has been slow.

This would have been a great week to organize and service your tackle. The bite has been very slow. As the temps recovered, there were a few fish today (Wednesday). Reports were that a few Bluefish were caught on the end Tee. A visiting angler got a couple of nice Pompano in skinny water, and Steve W. decked a 41 inch Red Drum.
