Daily activity:
Thursday 17th. water temp 84.7 E 6-10mph in the a.m. / 86.1 ENE 4-10mph. The water was clean. It was a dead fishing day. There were some Yellowtail Jacks and Cigar minnows caught.
Friday: water temp 84.9 NE 3-6mph in the a.m. / 86.7 W 7-9mph in the p.m. The water was clean.
There was a couple of Spanish Mackerel and a few small 2–3-pound Bonita early in the morning. The afternoon was very slow with only Ladyfish and a few Yellowtail Jacks. Cigar minnows were available for live bait. (see: Brenda-1-69c624f)
Saturday: water temp 85.6 NNE 5-7mph in the a.m. / 87.2 SW 5-9mph in the p.m. The water was clean. One Spanish and a few small Bonita in the morning. Hachid caught a small Sailfish, Cigar minnows were available for live bait.
Sunday: water temp 85.8 N 6-8mph in the a.m. / 84.4 SW 5-8mph wind in the p.m. The water was clean. There were a few Spanish Mackerel, Ladyfish and Hardtails caught. One small Sailfish was hooked on a Gotcha but broke off. There were lots of Cigar minnows available for live bait.
Monday: water temp 85.8 NE 5-6mph in the a.m. / 86.7 W 7-10mph in the p.m. The water was clean. There were a couple of Spanish Mackerel, Ladyfish and Yellowtail Jacks. Cigar minnows were available for live bait.
Tuesday: water temp 86.2 N 5-7 in the a.m. / 87.3 SW 6-9mph in the p.m. The water was clean. There were a few Spanish Mackerel, Ladyfish, Hardtails and lots of Yellowtail Jacks caught. There were some Cigar minnows available for live bait, but you had to work for them.
Wednesday 23rd. water temp 86.7 NE 5-8mph in the a.m./87.8 ENE 8-13mph in the p.m. The water was clean. Lots of Yellowtail Jacks, a few Ladyfish and some Hardtails were caught. There were Cigar minnows available for live bait.
Red Tide status: As of the latest FWC update, no Karenia brevis (red tide organism) was detected in Northwest Florida over the past week; conditions are at background levels
