We had almost ideal conditions for th Kings to be chewing the pier down. However, to my knowledge not a single one was caught. We did get a few Spanish and Bonita throughout the week. Hardtails and ladyfish were caught daily. Alewives have been thick in all sizes from the end Tee to the surf. A few Cigar minnows were around too.

Tarpon schools have been passing the pier in better numbers. Most are traveling west so the bite has begun. At first, live bait was the only thing they looked at but now large swim baits are the ticket. No particular color has established as the preferred bait. Early mornings and late afternoons have been the most productive.

Water temperature: 83-76
