We continue to have good water clarity. Our warm temps early week brought our water temperature up to 70 degrees but that didn’t last. Cold air rushed in and we plunged down to 64. It warmed some this afternoon and we finished the day at 65.8. This constant change in water temp has our fish confused. What few fish we are seeing are not feeding much. There were a couple of Red Drum caught, A Flounder and a Pompano. Other than that, an occasional Blue and a Squid or two.
Sarah, one of our local lady anglers got a nice upper slot red on the deck. Abraham from Texas decked a Bull and his partner P.J. got a decent Flounder. A young lady angler got her first Pompano. Check the photos: (see: Sarah-3420; Abraham-3422; P.J.-3424; Young angler-121221a)
