Our water clarity continues to be good. Some Squid were caught early mornings and late evenings. No bait fish have returned yet. Wind and cold air kept a lot of anglers away.
Most of the week was dead fishing. There was only one Sheepshead caught and one other hooked and lost to a pulled hook. Paul B. finally broke the ice for his first Sheepshead Sunday afternoon. Then Monday, a large school of big Black Drum came in at the east side of the Tee. I managed to put 4 on the deck before the school moved too far to reach. They all ranged from 18 to 22 pounds. Fortunately Rob D. was close and handled the landing net for me. Thanks Rob!. In one of the pictures, you can see Tommy L. hooked up in the corner.
