We had dirty or rough water with strong currents much of the period. Our water temperature was slightly warmer but still below 60 degrees. There were no bait fish and only a few Squid provided you were willing to jig for them between 01:00 and 04:00 a.m. At least parking and rail space was plentiful.
Thursday and Friday were slow with only a couple of Red Drum hooked but lost The only thing decked was a 14 inch Flounder Friday morning.
Saturday through Mondy were a bust.
Tuesday, small Bonnethead Sharks were in the dirty water and Hai caught a few Squid in the middle of the night.
Today was slightly better as Steve W. decked two Sheepshead using Ghost Shrimp. I hooked a small Pompano using Ghost Shrimp, but the hook pulled before I could drop a net. Hai got a few Squid before daylight.

Thursday: water temp 55.4 – 56.5 One Red Drum hooked but lost and one Squid.
Friday: water temp 56.5 – 57.0 One Red Drum hooked but lost. One 14” Flounder.
Saturday: water temp 56.7 – 58.6
Sunday: water temp 56.8 – 57.6
Monday: water temp 55.2 – 57.4
Tuesday: water temp 56.1 – 58.3 Three small Bonnethead Sharks, a few Squid before daylight.
Wednesday: water temp 57.2 – 59.2 Two Sheepshead caught with Ghost Shrimp, one Pompano hooked but lost, a few Squid before daylight.
Red Tide status: In Northwest Florida over the past week, K. brevis was not observed. The red tide organism, Karenia brevis, was observed at background concentrations in one sample from Southwest Florida over the past week.
