We are still enjoying clear water but the weather conditions have been more of a challenge. Winds, rain and air temperatures have been less than desirable. A few Pompano, a couple of Flounder and Red Drum were decked during the week. There were a few reports of a few small Spanish being caught early mornings.
Steve M. did most of the damage on the few Pompano that came by. He caught several during the week. Fresh Ghost Shrimp and Sand Fleas were his choice bait. Paul and I toted a skunk several days but Paul managed to put one 31 inch Red on the deck. After a quick picture, it was quickly released. I caught one fish all week that was Paul’s featured guest for dinner.

Species caught: Spanish Mackerel, Red Drum, Flounder, Bluefish and Pompano. Bait: Bring your own.
Water temperature: 59-62
