Unless you have the patience of a Saint, bring a book to keep you from losing your mind. I fished 7 days with one fish caught on the first day. Hopefully, we have paid our dues and the fish will return soon. The water temperature has been cold but is moderating some with our slightly warmer temps. The clarity has been great. However, the few fish we have seen just would not eat. We tried every bait we could get: Ghost Shrimp, live Shrimp, fresh dead Shrimp, Sand Fleas, Squid and cut bait. The only bait we did not have was live Fiddler Crab. Late afternoons, a small school of fish would mill around in the skinny water but totally ignore our bait. I have no explanation.
The only action I am aware of was a couple of Bull Red Drum caught off the end Tee and some Shark action. Brandon was the only angler to get photo evidence that there was still a fish anywhere around. It was a nice one and after a quick picture, it was released unharmed. Casey hooked a Flounder but lost it before he could bring it over the rail.

At least there have been a few Squid caught over the past couple of days, after dark.
Today’s storms with high winds and rough surf will probably trash the water clarity. After this cycle, we hope the fish will show and bite.
Species caught: Red Drum and Shark. Bait: Bring your own.
Water temperature: 62
